My son was slow to reading and writing. We didn't really think it was a big deal until 2nd grade when his teacher told us how far behind he was. I thought he was just a "late bloomer." His being behind caused him to compensate by acting out to take the attention away from the fact that he didn't know what was going on. His teacher thought we should seek outside help. We were very fortunate to find Peg Bogle. Within a few months he was catching up and gaining confidence. He's entering 3rd grade and I know he's ready. The best part is I know he feels ready because he got the one-on-one attention he needed. Peg was able to pinpoint his weaknesses and harmonize those with his particular skill set.

Peg kept my child moving forward when many had given up. Peg was strong in her teaching process yet gave positive reinforcement. She taught my child the love of reading & books, starting with the basics. It did not happen right away and it was challenging. What really made me a big fan of Peg, was the fact that she was my child's biggest advocate.
She spoke up for my child's best interest knowing it could cost her. She really puts the child's needs above profit.

Until I met Peg Bogle I doubted my child would ever really grasp reading. With her infinite amount of patience and strong diligence Peg is teaching my daughter to read. I appreciate that Peg tries a technique for my child's learning differences and if that technique doesn't work, Peg pursues another. The feeling of 'we can do it' underlines each tutoring session. When my daughter read a book by herself last night, she made sure that Peg was notified first. We can't thank Peg enough for all her work and support.
